This Joy

1 Thessalonians 5:16 tells us to "Always be joyful" (NLT).


A lot of the time, this verse is skipped over for those that follow it as someone preaches about prayer and thankfulness.


Or, it may be skipped over because it seems too difficult.  


Come on, who can honestly stand up and say that you've always been joyful?

So yesterday, I'm waiting outside the auditorium where I'll be having my chem lecture. I'm sitting on a ledge, drinking my Tim Hortons hot chocolate and people-watching while listening to music.


Yes, I know what you're thinking: I'm a brilliant multitask-er. Well, if you ever take intro to sociology, you'll learn that the Millennials (the most recent generation) has been born into the art and age of multitasking so I'm really not that special.
